Web Site Research/ Different Layouts

The things that work well with the YouTube home page would be having the current trending videos displayed. This is just used to allow for a quick look on whats new without them having to search for it. It also works well with up and coming You Tubers since they can do some kind of market research with just looking at the front page to make a quick informed judgement on what to be doing. The layout of this website is really streamed lined. I say this because if you look at the left of the screen shot you'll be able to see different tabs, this allows people with different tastes of entertainment to able to find fun videos. However from what i could find of this is that there are a lot of the same kind of content for example as you can see there is at least three videos on movies and what happen behind the scenes. This will inform my work by allowing me to take a more stream line effort

I believe it has a very informative layout, with the biggest news at the top and it turns into somewhat of a trickle down economic in news form so near the bottom is the least head line worthy etc. The layout is a straight forward as you can get with very little distractions this  just helps out with getting any important news story out. Its too bland and it will lead to people losing interest in the website after going through a few articles. This has informed my work by not making it too bland and boring.

With the animations working smoothly and having them move downwards while information appears at fixed interval, it's also very colorful and this works with the dynamic animations.the design and layout compliment each other and it seems that when you press one of the options on the tool tab and then the animation starts again however it's different but the layout is the same. The thing that doesn't work would be that it is too flamboyant so it made make it hard to convey a message across when there is something distracting such as the home page animation.This has informed my work by not being over ambitious and cramping a bunch of features and forgetting the information.

One Page Layout:
The reason on why i chose to look at this template since it has the potential to be direct or convoluted. It would complement my work since I will have to show my organisation skills since it will have to be condensed so that it will fit. I will personalized it  by adding in a multi coloured background.

Gallery Layout:
I have chosen this layout since it will allow me to have all of my work on one page and not having different links or different sub tabs to different pieces of work. It would complement my work by having them place together so you can compare. I will personalise it by having the words appear through different animations.

Photography Show Case:
I liked this template Since if I combine this with a consistent background changing in set intervals. It would complement my work by having screen shots of different project appearing so show the evolution of the different projects. I will also do this help personalise my website.

Construction of the website

To start off with I made the head line which gives who ever went onto this site some info about me. Also i have placed 3 buttons on three edges of the black banner, this will send the user to one of three blogger pages i had created.
